We are currently seeking highly-motivated, experienced professional for the following positions:

PROJECT ARCHITECT

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Project Architect to generate compelling and relevant design concepts for various project types. You will manage the design progress for multiple projects through all phases from inception through construction documents.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic and inspired professional who is passionate about good design. They should be extremely organized and detail-oriented, skilled in the latest industry design software, and possess strong communication skills. The candidate should also be comfortable mentoring junior staff and enthusiastic about playing a key role in shaping the future of our firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate the design vision and project scope into exceptional design concepts utilizing the latest software
  • Provide leadership for project design staff to meet milestones from concept to CDs for both ground-up and renovation projects
  • Prepare for and participate in presentations for client meetings, public approvals, and new business development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree preferred and 7+ years of experience
  • Current Massachusetts architectural registration
  • Solid understanding of ADA, MAAB, FHA and other applicable Codes
  • Construction administration experience and knowledge of construction methods
  • Proficient in Revit Modeling, AutoCAD drafting skills, SketchUp, Adobe CC,  and Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Excellent people skills and positive attitude
  • Chapter 149A experience / public work experience a plus
  • Urban redevelopment experience a plus
  • LEED Accreditation a plus
  • Some travel may be required

DESIGNER

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Designer to support the architectural team in generating innovative, relevant design concepts for all project types. The ideal candidate will be a highly-motivated team player with sharp graphics skills, resourcefulness in solving problems, and a strong work ethic.

This is a unique opportunity for a creative, motivated team player to work closely with firm partners to shape their design career as well as play a role in the growth of our firm.

 Responsibilities:

  • Provide design support for multiple projects from concept through construction documentation
  • Efficiently generate compelling graphics (2D and 3D) for presentations and marketing
  • Generate 3D renderings in 3ds Max, Rhino or similar

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Architecture with 1+ years co-op or work experience preferred
  • Advanced 3D rendering skills utilizing 3ds Max (preferred), Rhino or similar is required
  • Proficient in Revit Modeling, AutoCAD drafting skills, SketchUp, Adobe CC, and Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Strong communications skills and keen attention to detail
  • Excellent people skills and positive attitude

MARKETING MANAGER

As marketing manager, you will handle the day-to-day marketing and business development activities for our architecture firm. You will be charged with creating and implementing an efficient workflow including adjustments to marketing procedures, templates, and file organization.

This is a unique opportunity for an enterprising marketing manager to play a key role in the growth of our firm. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative “people person” who is extremely organized, resourceful and proactive in solving problems, and able to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with firm leadership, design staff, and outside consultants to implement marketing goals
  • Produce responses to RFQs/RFPs including collection of materials from subconsultants and in-house staff, generating new material as needed, and laying out the response in InDesign
  • Draft letters, project descriptions, newsletter content, bios, etc as needed
  • Organize and keep marketing materials up-to-date
  • Assist principals with business development activities including tracking communication, scheduling meetings, follow-up, etc. as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years relevant experience as Marketing Coodinator/Manager preferably in Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry
  • Proficient in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Graphic design / layout skills
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
