Supporting local artists, businesses and community through economic development is at the heart of 2147 Washington Street. Prominent ground floor spaces will soon feature a new home for Haley House Bakery Cafe and a new dance studio for JEAN APPOLON EXPRESSIONS INC. A mural by Franklin Marval that honors the history of Nubian Square welcomes residents and visitors in the building lobby. Seven individual work-only studios, a 1,200 square foot shared workspace and an interior courtyard all provide opportunities for creativity and collaboration.

All marketed primarily for local artists and individuals engaged in the neighborhood’s creative economy, this Passive House certified building in Roxbury provides 62 affordable rental units and 12 for-sale condos for a total of 74 units.
