The American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2025 Conference on Architecture & Design
As part of The American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2025 Conference on Architecture & Design, DREAM Collaborative, LLC led tours of two of our groundbreaking projects in in the City of Boston.
DREAM Collaborative and our client, the Preservation of Affordable Housing, led a tour of The Kenzi, advocating for affordable and sustainable housing. This 50-unit development provides supportive, age-restricted affordable housing to allow tenants to age in place in their own community. As a Passive House-certified project, The Kenzi emphasizes high occupant comfort with low energy consumption. The project is the first Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Boston over four stories. You can learn more about the project here: https://lnkd.in/eSvU_XJk
With our co-developer New Atlantic Development, DREAM led a tour of our recently completed project at 2147 Washington Street in Nubian Square. The tour highlighted this Passive House, mixed-use development that provides affordable rental units and for-sale condos marketed primarily for local artists engaged in Roxbury’s creative economy. The development features an interior courtyard, rotating art installations, workshop, retail and commercial spaces, a gallery and parking.
