PROJECT MANAGERS

DREAM has an immediate need for exceptional Project Managers for commercial and community-based projects of various types, scales, and budgets. Project Managers are responsible for managing multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate must have a track record of meeting schedule deadlines and budgets and forging strong relationships with clients. You must be passionate about executing world-class design projects and enthusiastic about leading and mentoring staff and contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment. You should be extremely organized and detail-oriented, skilled in the latest industry software, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing schedules and project budgets
  • Writing and revising proposals and managing additional services
  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors
  • Managing all phases of design and construction, from inception to construction completion
  • Managing multiple project teams including junior staff, subcontractors, and client representatives

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in architecture required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Current architectural registration preferred
  • Proficient in Deltek/Ajera, NewForma, Procure, MS Office Suite, AutoCAD drafting skills is required; SketchUp, Adobe CC, and Revit Modeling is a plus
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Experience with both ground-up and renovation construction projects
  • Solid understanding of ADA, MAAB, FHA and other applicable Codes
  • Experience working with municipal authorities and making public presentations
  • Solid construction administration experience and knowledge of construction methods
  • Chapter 149A experience / public work experience a plus
  • Urban redevelopment project experience a plus
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus
PROJECT ARCHITECTS

Job Description:

DREAM has an immediate need for energetic and inspired Project Architects / Designers. Project Architects / Designers are responsible for producing compelling design concepts and working closely with firm principals to provide design leadership and ensure design objectives and deliverables are met.

The ideal candidate is a strong conceptual designer who is passionate about bringing world-class design to commercial and community-based projects of various types, scales, and budgets. You must be enthusiastic about leading and mentoring design staff and contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment. You should be extremely organized and detail-oriented, skilled in the latest industry design software, and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

  • Translate the program, scope, and design vision into exceptional design concepts
  • Provide design leadership to junior design staff

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree preferred and 7+ years of experience

JOB CAPTAINS

Job Description:

We are currently seeking resourceful Job Captains with a keen eye for detail and an exceptional work ethic to add to our growing team.

 Responsibilities:

  • Participate in design activities of multiple projects from concept to development of detailed design ideas to construction documents, including coordination
  • Participate in programming, space planning, and selection of interior finishes and furniture
  • Prepare graphics and presentation materials for public approvals and client meetings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Architecture required, Masters degree preferred
  • 3+ years experience
  • Experience with both ground-up and renovation construction projects
  • Solid understanding of ADA, MAAB, FHA and other applicable Codes
  • Strong construction administration experience and knowledge of construction methods
  • Proficient in Revit Modeling, AutoCAD drafting skills, SketchUp, Adobe CC, and Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • LEED Accreditation a plus
  • Strong graphic design sensibility and technical proficiency

MARKETING COORDINATOR

Job Description:

The Marketing Coordinator works collaboratively with senior marketing staff, firm leadership and design and administrative staff to handle day-to-day marketing and business development activities. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative people-person who is tech-savvy, extremely organized, resourceful and proactive in solving problems, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. This is a multi-faceted position with room to grow and a great team to work with.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate responses to RFQs/RFPs including collection of materials from consultants and in-house staff, layout of the response in InDesign, and production/delivery
  • Create presentation materials for meetings
  • Draft letters, project descriptions, blog/newsletter content, and staff bios
  • Organize and maintain digital marketing files
  • Other projects may include coordination of photo shoots, social media activities, event planning, mailings, and other tasks as needed to support marketing and business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ year relevant experience preferably in the AEC industry
  • Graphic design / layout skills with intermediate + InDesign skills and proficiency in Photoshop required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience with social media, e-newsletter platforms, and Salesforce is a big plus
  • Strong desire to help and be a supporting part of a successful team.
