Design Coordinator III

Overview

DREAM Collaborative offers the flexibility to work on design-oriented, mission-driven projects, as well as large, mixed-use commercial projects in the central business district. Our approach is collaborative and inclusive, and focused on improving social, cultural, and economic outcomes for clients and the community.

DREAM has an immediate need for an energetic and inspired Design Coordinator III with a keen eye for detail and an exceptional work ethic to add to our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the program, scope, and design vision into exceptional design concepts
  • Provide design leadership to junior design staff
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and community meetings as needed
  • Self-managing and prioritizing tasks to accomplish project requirements while meeting the design budget

Expertise / Experience

  • Master’s degree preferred and 7+ years of experience
  • Currently pursuing Massachusetts architectural registration
  • Solid understanding of ADA, MAAB, FHA and other applicable Codes
  • Construction administration experience and knowledge of construction methods
  • Proficiency in Revit Modeling, AutoCAD drafting skills, SketchUp, Adobe CC, and Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Multifamily residential and large-scale mixed-use experience is required
  • Master planning experience is a plus
  • Chapter 149A experience / public work experience is a plus
  • Urban redevelopment experience is a plus
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus
