Overview

DREAM Collaborative offers the flexibility to work on design-oriented, mission-driven projects, as well as large, mixed-use commercial projects in the central business district. Our approach is collaborative and inclusive, and focused on improving social, cultural, and economic outcomes for clients and the community.

DREAM has an immediate need for exceptional Project Managers for commercial projects of various types, scales, and budgets. The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate must have a track record of meeting schedule deadlines and budgets, and forging strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing schedules and project budgets
  • Writing and revising proposals and managing additional services
  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors
  • Managing all phases of design and construction, for inception to construction completion
  • Managing multiple project teams including junior staff, subcontractors, and client representatives

Expertise / Experience

  • 7+ years of experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint, NewForma, Procure, MS Office Suite, AutoCAD drafting skills is required; SketchUp, Adobe CC, and Revit Modeling is a plus
  • Experience with both ground-up and renovation construction projects
  • Solid understanding of ADA, MAAB, FHA and other applicable Codes
  • Experience working with municipal authorities and making public presentations
  • Solid construction administration experience and knowledge of construction methods
  • Chapter 149A experience / public work experience is a plus
  • Urban redevelopment project experience is a plus
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus
