DREAM Collaborative provided an in-depth assessment of the Amy Lowell Apartment Building in Bostonās historic West End neighborhood. Our assessment provided data and feedback based on our visual observations, evaluation of existing documents, community meetings with residents and local codes and ordinances for an occupied 11-story masonry building of 152 units, including 120 income-restricted units. A quality of life survey was also conducted on the 1975 building and recommendations were provided for compliance with the City of Bostonās new āBuilding Energy Reporting and Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO),ā which sets requirements for large buildings to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
