Innovation Square III (ISQ3)
In alignment with the City of Boston’s Carbon Neutral 2050 goals, ISQ3 is designed to achieve LEED Platinum Certification and LEED Zero Carbon certification.
DREAM is partnered with SGA on this new research and development facility that will provide a new 319,000 sf, 7-story, state-of-the-art complex in Boston’s Seaport District. The massing and façade design responds to the urban and historical industrial context of the area, while also recognizing the necessity of open space for neighboring communities.
Related Beal, in combination with Boston Real Estate Inclusionary Fund (BREIF) and Kavanagh Advisors bid on the site, located in the Raymond L. Flynn Marine Park (RLFMP), through a BPDA process. ISQ3 is designed to achieve LEED Platinum Certification and LEED Zero Carbon certification. Vertex Pharmaceuticals will fully occupy the complex, which will include on-site training facilities and amenities including a café, fitness center, conference and event space, and outdoor public seating. Substantial public benefits from the project will support STEM education, technical job training in the life sciences and employment opportunities for Boston residents.
