DREAM Collaborative was commissioned to lead the full interior fit-out of a 2,700 sf certified retail health facility, transforming the first floor of an existing building into a vital community asset. This satellite neighborhood clinic was designed to provide high-quality, accessible care in a modern and welcoming environment that mirrors WSHC’s mission of serving diverse urban populations.
The comprehensive program integrates various essential medical services under one roof, including urgent care, primary care, mental health, and dental departments. To support these clinical functions, the design features advanced technical infrastructure for laboratory services, triage, and specialized provider rooms, alongside patient-centered reception areas and restrooms.
By leveraging DREAM’s expertise in modernizing clinical and research-driven spaces, the project ensures a highly controlled yet adaptable environment that can evolve with the changing health needs of the neighborhood. This renovation stands as a testament to transformative placemaking, turning a commercial storefront into a multi-departmental hub that promotes wellness, equity, and long-term community health.
