Executive Director, Beacon Hill Friends House

DREAM is currently providing design services for the deferred maintenance & master plan for preservation at the Beacon Hill Friends House (BHFH) in Boston’s historic Beacon Hill neighborhood. This nearly 200 year old house is attributed to Charles Bulfinch and today serves as a center for Quaker educational activities and a cooperative residential community.

In addition to an ongoing master planning effort, DREAM is currently collaborating with BHFH to support deferred maintenance needs that will help promote their mission for the building to serve as a vibrant hub for life, learning, leadership, and social action. Our work includes addressing desired exterior and interior renovations that will preserve the historic integrity of the building. DREAM is working closely with BHFH staff and community members to address current needs including renovation of public and private living space, an accessibility assessment and roof and window restoration.
