DREAM expertly diagnosed building envelope issues at our Mildred Hailey Development. The designed remedial strategies and diligently managed this HUD funded project until each area was successfully completed on many multi-family masonry structures.
DREAM Collaborative managed a team of architects and engineers to conduct a capital needs study including exterior/interior building investigations and analysis, followed by full design and construction administration services to bring effective, cost-efficient repairs to the Mildred C. Hailey Apartments, one of the BHA’s oldest public housing developments (formerly known as Bromley-Heath). The exterior facades of 26 low to mid-rise buildings, which contain 802 units, underwent extensive water intrusion investigations. Building envelope rehabilitation and repairs were also made to 12 masonry buildings.
